I posted some photos from the past few days! Snaps for a new camera.
Today we visited the Vatican. It was incredibly huge! We took an underground tour where we could see the excavated ruins of 4centuries worth of pre-Vatican civilization! It was all erected over the grave of Peter (the Peter who denied Christ 3 times and later died in Christ's name by crucifixion upside down) At one point on the tour we could actually see the direct box his bones are in (last opened in the 4th century). Whew, yea I could go on, but it's very late so I need to wrap this up...
In the morning I am taking the train to Florence. We will see the sights and have reservations at the Uffizi on Sunday at 11am. I am really looking forward to seeing the Michelangelo's David!
I probably won't have internet while I'm there. I will miss hearing from you. I am thinking of you all :) Can't wait to share a little about it with you when I come back Sunday night/Monday.

Hey Neen! I just have to say me and the rest of the Johnson girls at this house all sat together on the couch and watched your video and giggled right with you :) The trip sounds amazing!!!...and you describe everything so perfectly. Hope you are having a fun time in Florence!
