- I am a student at Seattle Pacific University. As a double major in Apparel & Textile Design and Art History, I am traveling to Rome with the Art History Department June 15th-July 14th. The tour is called: Art and Incarnation. We will be "experiencing the rise and decline of great civilizations, and glimpse their noblest attempts to manifest divine truth and beauty." This is my first of what I hope to be many escapades in which I can see God in foreign lands, other culture past and present and in my own life. I just tried to leave a comment for you explaining things like, I thought I might receive emails of this blog and wasnt, so then I checked facebook and found it-silly me!, and that this (posting a comment) is the only way I know how to write to you! So, all that to say, you are so incredibly Beautiful, the pictures are absolutely fabulous-- you should use photography as a back-up career ;), and your soul is beautiful. I wish I could be you--I seriously am going to go pray about contentment! ;) I love you and am thankful for your experiences... even if they aren't mine ;) You're living a dream!
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOODNESS! i have been trying and trying to write on here for days...but it will never let me post it :( BAH. I keep just re-typing the same things over and over and it just never works! oh geez. Do not think that i forgot about it...or that i do not have time: no way that could happen ! I love you so much, and miss you like crazy...i'm going to post this one quick and see if it works! :)

ReplyDeletemmk. so now, to respond to everything I have missed! :) first things first...YOUR PICTURES are INCRRRRRREDIBLE! oh my goodness, i just love them all so much :) you are looin' so beautiful...I just love every outfit! Second of all...DARK CHOCOLATE! :) new rule: you must get that kind every time from now on! oh, and eat some for me too! (since the serving size is small, this shouldn't be a problem :) and moving right along! Work is going great...I am still just loving the kids so much! I always look forward to going. and I just got a few more hours teaching lessons in the afternoons! so thats really fun :) AND i am officially done with my CNA class. whoop whoop :) its so great! I spent thursday and friday in a nursing home...supporting the all white srcubs and everything! it was so great :) I was assigned to this man, named Ralf :) he was SO INCREDIBL! He is 93 years old. was in the olympics. WWII. the depression. had three wives. ha. and the list goes on. oh, he also had a chocolate drawer that he made me take from, at least 5 times a day :) (good thing my pants had an elastic waist)! ha. anyway, it was a really good learning experience for me...and really made me love nursing even more! His roomie was named George; a man struggling with lung cancer, and has no family that cares. He just moved in, so he was very overwhelmed and worn out from everything...so one day, while he was drinking coffee...he started to shake really bad...so I rushed over to help him. after seeing his eyes roll back, I knew that something bigger was wrong...so i had to do a few things to make sure he was okay, called the charge nurse. and then he was okay...it was scary tho. When I got evaluated by my leader, she just started crying...she told me that if I do not become a nurse, she will personally hunt me down! ha. mmmmmm
So, this past week was really great :) I have many "things" to tell youuuuuuuu. ah! (you just wait till you can check your voicemails!) oh yes! e-mail. check it soon :))
I love you soooooooo very much!!!!!!! i hope i said everything that i had in my head!
oh and the video! I LOVED seeing you :) do it more often!!
