Morning!
Yesterday we toured catacombs, a mausoleum and a church. They were cool!
Then I studied in the afternoon, my first exam is this afternoon :/
We are leaving soon for a tour of various medieval churches.
My sunburn is only hurting on my face and stomach now, thanks to aloe.
Mom and dad, I'm dying to call you guys but my phone cards don't work :( I've tried various times and even had the hotel guy help me....apparently ones bought in the US usually don't work?? :(

- I am a student at Seattle Pacific University. As a double major in Apparel & Textile Design and Art History, I am traveling to Rome with the Art History Department June 15th-July 14th. The tour is called: Art and Incarnation. We will be "experiencing the rise and decline of great civilizations, and glimpse their noblest attempts to manifest divine truth and beauty." This is my first of what I hope to be many escapades in which I can see God in foreign lands, other culture past and present and in my own life. Hope your exam went well...that is so sad about the phone cards...I miss hearing your voice..Medieval churches...catacombs...mausoleums you could make a movie :)

Hope your sleeping well.I went with Elaine Sunday night to help her buy a TV. I put it and her new TV stand together for her Monday and Tuesday night. We watched "Henry Pool Is Here" (my netflix).HD and Surround sound. Tonight we went to Applebees' for Claire's B-Day(20).
ReplyDeleteI walked through two rentals yesterday, the townehouse your mom's in love with and the house I found on Craig's list in a nice newer subdivision. Looks like it will come down to affordability.(is that a word?) It's nice to have a choice.

We are still in Colorado...on our way home tomorrow. Re-entry into real life is always interesting. We saw some history yesterday. Bent's Fort in S. Colorado. It was a trading post in the 1840's. Quite amazing to think about.
