Man...so I've been trying to upload a sampling of pictures for the past few hours and all I could get was that one; bummer.
But yes, that is just outside my hotel. Hopefully someday I'll be able to give you a snapshot of more. But, now it's the wee hours of night and I've got to get some sleep.
We are heading to the baths of Diocletian tomorrow bright and early.
Today the Colosseum, Forum and Pantheon where spectacular! ...the heat is punishing at times though .
I had the most delicious supper: pumpkin ravioli followed by tiramisu & dark chocolate gelato (ali-all i could think of was how I could bring you home some- You would have died!)
Dinner was followed by Mozart's last work (opera and orchestra) at a cathedral in the Piazza Novana.
(...did I really just live that day...or am I dreaming...someone pinch me)

Wow...it is so pretty....like a post card. sounds life quite a day. WE will miss you at the the softball game tomorrow. Afterwards, Nat and I are heading to Red Wing to spend the night with Dad. Gonna go to the Covenant Church on Sunday...then just hang out with Dad on HIS day.

ReplyDeleteSOunds like your having a blast already, your Dad played great at the softball tournament today, and your sister had such team spirit, lol. it was very humid at the tournament but it was okay. tiramisu is by far my favorite desert. hope you have a great sunday, cant wait to hear more.
